Manu Madhav

Dr. Manu Madhav is an assistant professor in the UBC School of Biomedical Engineering and the Tier 2 Canada Research Chair in Neural Circuits of Cognition and Control. Manu is an early-career neuroscientist and engineer who investigates the algorithmic basis of neural navigation. Through support from Michael Smith Health Research BC, Manu seeks to quantify navigational impairments that occur due to early Alzheimer’s disease and distinguish them from healthy aging, by performing cross-species experiments in rodents and humans using virtual-reality manipulations.
