Hunelhyad? Sid Dr. Johanna Sam sets’edinh. Sid Tŝilhqot’in xaghiyah. Sid Musqueam nen ŝidah as. Dr. Johanna Sam is a proud citizen of Tŝilhqot’in Nation. She currently lives and works on the traditional lands of the Musqueam People. She is an assistant professor in the University of British Columbia’s Faculty of Education in the Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology, and Special Education as well as NITEP – Indigenous Teacher Education Program. She has an active strength-based research program that is focused on life course perspectives to promote youth wellness in online and offline contexts. As an educational psychologist, she is interested in Indigenous knowledges to promote holistic wellness for children and adolescents, especially in a digital world.
