Davina Banner-Lukaris

Dr. Davina Banner is the researcher lead and a professor at the University of Northern British Columbia, residing on the ancestral and unceded territory of the Lheidli T’enneh. Davina leads an interdisciplinary program of research that is focused on cardiovascular and rural health, along with research that advances the science and practice of integrated knowledge translation and patient-oriented research. Through her research, Davina seeks to improve the health of Canadians living with complex health conditions, along with studying methods and practices that support meaningful co-production in research.Davina has worked in partnership populations that face barriers to engagement in research, actively adopting equity principles and practices.
