COVID-19 Research Capacity Building Partnership
In 2020, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Michael Smith Health Research BC partnered with Surrey Hospitals Foundation and Fraser Health to build research capacity at Surrey Memorial Hospital and enable innovative, life-saving COVID-19 research in the Fraser Health region. This partnership also allows Fraser Health to recruit the best and develop future talent, while empowering young researchers to build their skill sets on site in Surrey Memorial Hospital. This partnership is anticipated to continue through 2023.
