The CCDPM is a newly established Faculty of Medicine Centre, forged from a vision to establish an internationally recognized, interdisciplinary program of research and knowledge translation for the prevention and management of chronic conditions. The Centre’s research strategy builds on the collective research strengths of the UBC Okanagan campus, Interior Health, and local clinicians in three key areas: Cardiovascular Health, Diabetes and Obesity, and Neurological Disorders.
