Dr. Terry Boyle is an early carer researcher whose research involves investigating modifiable risk factors (particularly physical activity and sedentary behavior) in relation to cancer risk and cancer survivorship. He has a Bachelor of Science (kinesiology) from the University of Western Australia and received a PhD in cancer epidemiology in 2012.
His current research projects include studies on: objectively-measured physical activity and sedentary time among cancer survivors; the influence of physical activity and sedentary behavior on health and psychosocial outcomes in cancer survivors; gene-environment interactions; and the associations between physical activity, sedentary behavior and the risks of various cancers.
