Stanley Hung

Stanley is a physiotherapist and a postdoctoral research fellow with Dr. Janice Eng at the University of British Columbia, Department of Physical Therapy and The Centre for Aging SMART. He has a passionate research interest in the benefits of exercise and physical activity for stroke survivors. After completing a Master of Science in rehabilitation sciences and Master of Physical Therapy at UBC, Stanley completed a PhD at the University of Melbourne at the Florey Institute of Neuroscience and Mental Health. Stanley has diverse research experience across the stroke care continuum, including research in acute stroke, stroke rehabilitation, and in community dwelling stroke survivors. Stanley hopes to explore novel strategies to integrate physical activity and exercise into stroke care, and to further demonstrate the benefits of exercise and physical activity for stroke survivors.
