Sofie Tolmeijer

Dr. Sofie Tolmeijer is a postdoctoral researcher at the Vancouver Prostate Centre, University of British Columbia in the lab of Dr. Alexander Wyatt. She obtained her PhD in 2023 at the Radboud University in the Netherlands in the group of Dr. Niven Mehra, where she studied the utility of serial circulating tumour DNA measurements to refine cancer treatment. In her current research she strives to combine clinical oncology, cancer genomics and bioinformatics to study and optimize novel circulating tumour DNA technology and democratize access to genomic testing for patients with genitourinary cancers.
