Sian Tsuei

I am a practising Canadian family physician who completed a Population Sciences PhD at the Harvard University in 2023, specializing in health systems. My research examines how large-scale shocks affect health system change. By leveraging and developing organizational behaviour theories, my work helps to identify potential mechanisms that underpin health system change, thus driving potential policy recommendations. My work focuses on understanding how organizational characteristics affect payment reforms; how countries’ characteristics affect their response to COVID-19 pandemic; how different types of clinical information affects the quality of care for telemedicine; and how artificial intelligence affects health care quality and access.
