Sarah Hanstock

Sarah Hanstock is a PhD student in experimental medicine at the University of British Columbia, supervised by Dr. Dirk Lange at The Stone Centre. She holds a BSc with Honours (Physiology) from the University of Alberta, where she did research on the gut microbiome and inflammatory bowel disease. 

With an interest in the connection between the gut microbiome and human heath, alongside both clinical and basic science research experience, Sarah is now focusing her work on understanding the role of the gut microbiome in kidney stone disease.
