Sandra Lauck

Dr. Sandra Lauck holds the St. Paul’s Hospital Professorship in Cardiovascular Nursing at the University of British Columbia. She is an associate professor at the UBC School of Nursing and a UBC Knowledge Exchange & Mobilization Scholar. Dr. Lauck has a joint appointment as clinician scientist at St. Paul’s Hospital and Senior Clinical Nurse Specialist Lead at Providence Health Care.

Dr. Lauck leads a program of research focused on improving outcomes and experiences of people with cardiovascular disease, optimizing care processes and delivery models to accelerate the uptake of contemporary evidence, and the advancement of nursing practice. She is committed to linking clinical practice, policy and scholarship through active engagement with patients, families, clinicians, and government organizations in all aspects of her research program.

Dr. Lauck is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Nursing, the American Academy of Nursing, and the European Society of Cardiology.
