Nancy Poole

Dr. Nancy Poole is the Director of the Centre of Excellence for Women’s Health, leading knowledge translation, network development and research related to improving policy and service provision on a range of women’s health and social justice concerns, including substance use issues. In 2021 she was awarded an honorary doctorate degree from the Justice Institute of BC in recognition of her contributions to women’s health, including trauma-informed practice and the treatment of substance use and addiction.
