Dr. Michael Asamoah-Boaheng is a postdoctoral fellow/research associate in the Department of Emergency Medicine at University of British Columbia and a research trainee at the BC Resuscitation Research Collaborative. He is a clinical epidemiologist, bio-statistician, and medical data scientist. His research interest includes infectious disease epidemiology, obstructive airway diseases and diabetes burden in sub-Saharan Africa.
He is currently working on “COVID-19 Occupational Risks, Seroprevalence and Immunity among Paramedics in Canada (CORSIP)” (CORSIP-Canada) research project with Dr. Brian Grunau and Dr. David Gordfarb as his supervisors. He is also engaged in cardiac arrest research with the BC Resuscitation Research Collaborative.
Michael has authored closed to 30 research publications in refereed journals including clinical, epidemiology and statistics journals.
