Maryam Rahimi-Balaei

Dr. Maryam Rahimi-Balaei obtained her PhD in human anatomy and cell science from the University of Manitoba in 2019. She attended to Dr. Goldowitz lab, CMMT at UBC as a postdoctoral fellow and is a MSFHR Research Trainee award recipient.

Her PhD project focused on cerebellar development, cerebellar nuclei neurons migration. Now in her postdoctoral fellow project, she will study the role of miRNA on granule cells in mice cerebellum.
