Marlise Hofer

Dr. Marlise Hofer is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Victoria, Canada and is working in the Risky Behaviour Lab with Dr. Brianna Turner. She received her PhD in social psychology from the University of British Columbia where she worked in the Evolutionary Social Cognition Laboratory with Dr. Mark Schaller, and the Social Health Lab with Dr. Frances Chen.

Her research focuses on the influences of close social relationships and she is specifically interested in how people communicate via scent, and how exposure to the scents can impact and improve health.
