Marie Yan

Dr. Marie Yan completed her medical degree at the University of Toronto, followed by training in internal medicine and respirology at the University of Toronto and University of British Columbia respectively. Thereafter, she joined the Clinician Investigator Program and completed a clinical and research fellowship in mycobacterial diseases at the University of Toronto, where she also undertook graduate studies in clinical epidemiology. Her research interests relate to tuberculosis and nontuberculous mycobacterial pulmonary disease, and she plans to use population-based databases to examine the risk factors and outcomes of these diseases in Canada.
