Linda Li

Dr. Linda Li is an associate professor and Harold Robinson/Arthritis Society Chair in Arthritic Diseases in the Department of Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia, and a senior scientist at the Arthritis Research Centre of Canada. Li’s research focuses in three areas: 1) Understanding the help-seeking experience in people with early inflammatory arthritis, 2) Evaluating models of arthritis care, and 3) Studying the role of digital media tools to improve the uptake of effective treatment. Her research involves collaborating with scientists and skilled workers in sociology, health psychology, computer science and visual arts to create online tools, such as decision aids for promoting shared-decision making and interactive programs for coaching people to be physically active.
