Linda Lapp

Dr. Linda Lapp is a statistician, data scientist and a health outcomes researcher, primarily specialized in developing clinical decision support tools to predict complications following open-heart surgeries. As a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of British Columbia, Dr. Lapp is working with the Centre for Heart Lung Institute (HLI) at St. Paul’s Hospital in Vancouver and Prevention of Organ Failure (PROOF) Centre of Excellence to develop new biomarkers for short- and long-term complications that could occur after a heart transplant surgery.
