Dr. Kathy Rush is a professor in the School of Nursing at the University of British Columbia Okanagan. Her health services research program employs community-based research methods to advance health and health care equity for adults with complex health challenges (e.g. cardiac) across healthcare and geographic contexts. She has led multiple projects applying technological solutions to address gaps in rural health care services. She is the co-principal investigator on the UBC Research Excellence cluster in Rural Health Equity – Social Enterprise and Technology Synergies (RHE-SETS).
