Jill Zwicker
Dr. Jill Zwicker is a former Michael Smith Scholar (2014-2019), Canada Research Chair in Pediatric Brain Development & Rehabilitation, professor in the Department of Occupational Science & Occupational Therapy at the University of British Columbia, and an investigator at BC Children’s Hospital Research Institute. As an internationally recognized scholar for her work with children with developmental coordination disorder (DCD), Jill’s research program aims to better understand potential causes of DCD, to evaluate the effect of rehabilitation on motor skill and brain development, and to inform evidence-based care to improve outcomes for children with DCD.
