Jasmine Grewal

Dr. Jasmine Grewal is a clinical professor of medicine at the University of British Columbia and head of the UBC division of cardiology. She is the director of the Yasmin and Amir Virani Provincial Adult Congenital Heart Program and Provincial Cardio-Obstetrics Program based at St. Paul’s Hospital.

With fellowship training in Adult Congenital Heart Disease/Pregnancy and Heart Disease (Toronto General Hospital) and Echocardiography (Mayo Clinic, Rochester MN), she is actively involved in clinical and research activities in these fields.

Jasmine is currently involved as a primary and co-investigator in numerous single center and multi-center research studies in the areas of congenital heart disease and pregnancy and heart disease.

To date, she has over 100 publications. Jasmine is the current annual meeting chair for the Canadian Cardiovascular Congress, president of the Canadian Adult Congenital Heart Network and past president of the Alliance for Adult Research in Congenital Cardiology. She is a co-author of the 2022 CCS Guidelines for the Management of Congenital Heart Disease and co-chair of the 2021 Clinical Practice Document on Management of Cardiac Disease in Pregnancy.
