Dr. Jack Solomon (he/his) is currently serving a postdoctoral fellow in the in the Department of Biomedical Physiology and Kinesiology at Simon Fraser University, operating under the mentorship of Dr. Randy McIntosh. He completed his PhD at Dalhousie University in Psychology and Neuroscience as a Killam Laureate.
Jack’s research is dedicated to identifying biomarkers of healthy aging in neural activity and quantifying its relations with lifestyle factors and behaviour. His approach integrates large open source neuroimaging datasets and a variety of correlational and causal modelling techniques to better understand the relationship between these three factors. The goal of his work is to develop meaningful targets for clinical interventions aimed at fostering healthy aging within the broader populace.
