Hugh Kim

Hugh Kim is a dentist (DMD, Université de Montréal) and clinician-scientist (Ph.D., University of Toronto; postdoc, Harvard) with fundamental research interests in platelet physiology. Since 2013, Hugh has been appointed to a research-intensive academic position in the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of British Columbia (UBC), with a cross-appointment to the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. His laboratory has been continuously funded by CIHR (Clinician-Scientist Award; Operating/Project Grants) and Michael Smith Health Research BC (Scholar Award) and is part of the UBC Centre for Blood Research (CBR).
