Elizabeth Keys

Dr. Elizabeth Keys, PhD, RN is an assistant professor in the School of Nursing at UBC Okanagan. She is a registered nurse with a clinical background in public health nursing focused on promoting child and family well-being and certification in community health nursing. Elizabeth obtained her PhD and BN from the Faculty of Nursing at the University of Calgary and completed an interdisciplinary CIHR-funded postdoctoral fellowship at Dalhousie University in the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience. The goal of her program of research is to promote and maintain infant and parental mental health by supporting parent-child interactions and sleep health. In her research, Elizabeth examines how innovative approaches and models of care, such as eHealth and precision health, can be leveraged for sustainable health services transformation and real-world improvements in the lives of families with children. She leads the SLeep solUtions to proMote Better Early childhood Relationships (SLUMBER) Research Lab at the UBC Okanagan campus.
