Drew Clark

Dr. Drew B. A. Clark lives and works on the unceded, occupied, traditional, and ancestral territory of the Coast Salish Peoples, including the territories of xʷməθkwəy̓əm, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh, and Səl̓ílwətaɬ. They extend their gratitude and respect to all Indigenous communities on whose territories they engage in research, acknowledging their stewardship of these lands since time immemorial. Drew is an Assistant Professor in the School of Nursing at The University of British Columbia and an Ethicist with the Ethics Service at the Provincial Health Services Authority. They hold a PhD in Interdisciplinary Studies and are a Certified Healthcare Ethics Consultant (HEC-C). Drew is committed to centering equity, diversity, inclusion, anti-racism, and Indigenous Cultural Humility and Cultural Safety in their clinical practice, teaching, and research. Drawing on empirical, participatory, and arts-based methods, Drew collaborates with members of equity-deserving groups and health professionals to study emerging issues in the fields of healthcare ethics and health equity.
