Claire Liu

Claire Liu is a General Surgery resident at the University of British Columbia. She is currently pursuing a Master’s of Public Health at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.

Claire’s research focuses on breast cancer surgery and surgical oncology outcomes. She is currently working with the Mount Saint Joseph Hospital Providence Breast Centre in collaboration with the UBC School of Population and Public Health Centre for Health Services and Policy Research in linking and comparing the oncologic, surgical, and patient reported outcomes after breast conversing surgery versus mastectomy in breast cancer patients with the goal to improve both cancer survivorship longevity and quality of life.
