Ava Mehdipour-Ataei

Dr. Ava Mehdipour is a post-doctoral fellow in the School of Nursing, at Trinity Western University, working under the supervision of Dr. Richard Sawatzky. She recently graduated from McMaster University, with a PhD in Rehabilitation Science. Her doctoral work involved the evaluation of measurement properties of mobility-based assessments for community-dwelling older adults. Her current research focuses on investigating equitable measurement approaches for health and quality of life in older adults, with the goal of capturing diverse perspectives. Dr. Mehdipour’s research area is in measurement, health outcomes, and older adults.
