Dr. Anne-Sophie Archambault is a postdoctoral fellow in Dr. Ramon Klein Geltink’s lab at BC Children’s Hospital Research Institute. She obtained her PhD in immunology at Laval University in Quebec City. During her PhD, she worked on various projects all focusing on how bioactive lipids are produced and how they affect immune cells in the context of lung inflammation.
She mastered lipid quantification via LC-MS/MS among other immunology techniques. Her main research interest lies in understanding how immune cells work (or not) in the context of diseases, like cancer. During her postdoctoral fellowship, she hopes to better understand how effector T cells use nutrients to proliferate or to exert their effector functions.
