Ania Bogoslowski

Dr. Bogoslowski is Postdoctoral Fellow in the Penninger lab. Her passion is immunology and how immune cells and neurons interact in the cancer setting. Tumours are highly innervated and this innervation is linked to worse prognosis for patients. Furthermore, will often contain large populations of immune cells located close to neurons. Dr. Bogoslowski’s research will lead to an understanding of how tumour growth can be modulated by targeting this interaction. The Penninger lab uses mouse models and organoids to answer this research question.
Dr. Bogoslowski completed her PhD at the University of Calgary using the cutting edge technique of intravital microscopy. Her PhD work on neutrophil recruitment to the lymph node resulted in two first author publications.
