Abdul-Fatawu Abdulai

Dr Fatawu Abdulai conducts research on health informatics, human-computer interaction, and health technology design. He has a sub-specialization in health technology design and evaluation from the Designing for People’s program in UBC. His program of research seeks to explore how principles of human-computer interaction and trauma-informed care approaches can be leveraged to address inequities in access to sexual and reproductive health services for marginalized populations. His research is primarily focused on developing trauma-informed digital health interventions in sexual and reproductive health. He is the director of digital health research at the Contraception and Abortion Research Ream (CART -GRAC).
