Research Interests

  • PLEX (persons with lived experience) – to engage people with lived experience of SCI within research, innovation and their own decision-making to achieve meaningful advances in care.
  • Research and Care – to further understanding of the biology and physiology of SCI, develop promising therapies for neurorestoration of the injured spinal cord to restore function, prevent secondary complications and achieve evidence-informed equitable and optimal care across the SCI continuum.
  • Innovation – to advance SCI research technology out of the laboratory and into the marketplace where they can benefit people with SCI.
