Ryan Hulteen

Dr. Ryan Hulteen is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the School of Kinesiology at the University of British Columbia. He previously received his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Michigan State University and his PhD in Education from the University of Newcastle (Australia).

Ryan’s research aims to understand what motor skills individuals need to be active across the lifespan, how to assess these skills at different ages, and how motor skills relate to physical activity and other trajectories of health. The long-term goal of Ryan’s research is to develop and implement programs within schools and the community which promote motor skill development and physical activity.
