Rebecca Feldman

Dr. Rebecca Feldman is an assistant professor in medical physics at the University of British Columbia’s Okanagan campus in the Department of Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, and Statistics. She has an MSc and PhD in medical biophysics from the University of Western Ontario and a BApSc (engineering science) from the University of Toronto. Dr. Feldman was a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Alberta and the BioMedical Engineering and Imaging Institute at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (New York) where she was named a junior fellow of the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine.

She is co-inventor of two patents related to improved magnetic resonance imaging sequences. The research in Dr. Feldman’s lab focuses translational Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), leveraging the power of non-invasive medical imaging to better detect and understand neurological disorders and diseases.
