My research focuses on optimizing lipid nanoparticle (LNP) formulations for extrahepatic delivery and improving the efficacy of existing delivery systems by incorporating functional derivatives such as polymers or peptides. I aim to lead translational research that advances next-generation drug delivery technologies and to be an integral part of the growing life sciences sector. As a postdoctoral fellow at the University of British Columbia, I bring expertise in dendritic and lipid-based delivery systems, with previous work in topical and cancer drug delivery of nano-sized carriers. My experience spans formulation development, in vitro assays, and in vivo studies. I have contributed to interdisciplinary projects and high-impact publications. Mentorship and collaborative experience with Dionamix Scientific Inc. have further shaped my ability to align research with industry needs, enabling the development of delivery platforms that are both innovative and commercially relevant.
