Paulina Scheuren

Dr. Paulina Scheuren is a postdoctoral fellow at the International Collaboration On Repair Discoveries (ICORD), University of British Columbia (UBC) in the laboratory of Dr. John Kramer. She received her PhD in Health Sciences and Technology at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Zurich) in Switzerland. Her research aims at understanding maladaptive disease processes in individuals with spinal disorders and chronic pain using a multimodal phenotyping approach including neurophysiological techniques, pain-related autonomic measures, spinal cord imaging, and magnetic resonance spectroscopy. Her current work at UBC focuses on developing non-invasive measures of neuroinflammation in the human central nervous system.
