Dr. Olivia de Jongh is a postdoctoral researcher working with Dr. Louise Masse at the University of British Columbia (UBC). She holds a PhD in psychological research from Universidad Iberoamericana campus Mexico City, a master in clinical psychology, and a BSc in psychology from Havana University.
In addition to the Health Research BC Research Trainee award, she has received multiple awards/recognitions including two scholarships from Mexico’s National Council of Science and Technology (CONACYT) and four scholarships and awards from Universidad Iberoamericana.
Her current and past work include multidisciplinary collaborations with researchers across Canada (e.g. UBC, BC Children’s Hospital Research Institute, University of Ottawa, Victoria, Alberta, Sherbrooke, the Childhood Obesity Foundation), United States of America (Baylor College of Medicine) and Mexico (Universidad Iberoamericana campus Mexico City and Puebla, Universidad de las Americas, and General Hospital of Mexico Dr. Eduardo Liceaga).
