I am a Biomedical Scientist and passionate about engaging in research, particularly in soft materials engineering for Biomedical applications. I have completed my BSc and MSc in biotechnology from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST), Bangladesh. Later, I received the prestigious MEXT Scholarship from Japan in 2015 to complete my MEng degree in Materials Science (Nanotechnology specialization) at the University of Tsukuba. In 2018, I started my Ph.D. in biomedical engineering at the University of Calgary, where my research mainly focused on developing thermoresponsive hydrogel scaffolds with tunable physical and chemical properties for cartilage tissue engineering. After completing my Ph.D. in 2022, I started working as postdoctoral fellow in bioengineering research at the University of British Columbia. Currently, I am exploring the potential of immunomodulatory glycoconjugate-based organ engineering approaches in transplant rejection treatment at the Kizhakkedathu Lab in the Pathology and Laboratory Medicine department and the Centre for Blood Research (CBR).
