Mark Harrison
Mark Harrison joined the UBC Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2014 where he leads the Collaboration for Outcomes Research and Evaluation (CORE) group. He is also a Scientist at the Centre for Advancing Health Outcomes at St. Paul’s Hospital.
His research focuses on early health technology assessment (HTA), adapting methods from health economics, epidemiology, and HTA to support the development of biopharmaceutical platform technologies.
He also studies patient-physician decision-making, the role of preferences in treatment choices, and the impact of policy interventions on health outcomes.
