Dr. Marie-Pier St-Laurent obtained her Doctorate of Medicine at Laval University in Quebec City, where she also completed her Urology Residency training. She is completing a 3 years fellowship in Urologic Oncology at University of British-Columbia (UBC), with a research focus on urothelial carcinoma. She is interest in developing a career in translational and clinical trial research. She received funding from CIHR Catalyst Grant for SPOR Innovative Clinical Trials and CIHR CANTRAIN and Michael Smith Health Research BC postdoctoral fellowship. Dr. St-Laurent’s research explores innovative clinical trial designs, including the NEO-BLAST trial, which aims to reduce treatment burden while improving quality of life for bladder cancer patients. She will transition to a faculty position at Vancouver General Hospital (UBC) where she will continue her work as a clinician and researcher advancing the field of urologic oncology.
