During my PhD research at the Institute of Parasitology, McGill University, I delved into the intriguing world of regulatory T-cells (Tregs). This exposure ignited a deep interest in Treg biology and its promising applications in cell therapy.
Fueled by this enthusiasm, I joined a post-doctoral position in the Megan Levings Lab, where I have concentrated on advancing Treg therapy, particularly in the realms of organ transplantation and autoimmune diseases. My current research is centered on harnessing CAR Tregs to promote transplantation tolerance, aiming to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
Beyond my research, I am passionate about photography, travel, and fishing. These hobbies not only provide a creative and relaxing outlet but also reflect my commitment to a balanced and fulfilling life both professionally and personally.
