Dr. Mahin Delara is a health education specialist (HES) with additional expertise in Applied Health Sciences (AHS). He is currently doing his fellowship at the Vaccination Evaluation Center (VEC) situated at BC Children’s Hospital with a passion for exploring the effectiveness and safety of vaccines in children and adolescents.
Given the critical role that immunization plays in controlling infectious diseases these days, his current research study addresses the immediate public health needs to eradicate meningitis. His findings will build a foundation with a more applied research outcome for BC policy-makers and public health authorities.
