Dr Truong is a Canadian trained physiotherapist with extensive clinical experience treating and managing patients with traumatic knee injuries (e.g. ACL injuries). She is passionate on bridging the gap between clinical practice and digital health technology to improve patient outcomes through evidence-informed strategies. Dr. Truong is an experienced qualitative and mixed methods researcher in the musculoskeletal and sports rehabilitation fields. Her doctoral work focused on the role of social support and the therapeutic relationship on exercise participation after a sport-related knee injury. Dr. Truong’s postdoctoral research focuses on innovative models of care, and designing and implementing digital health solutions for managing musculoskeletal pain.
