Krista Glowacki

Dr. Krista Glowacki is a postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of Occupational Sciences and Occupational Therapy at the University of British Columbia. She works with the community organization Foundry, which provides health services for young people in British Columbia.

She is the mental health lead at Infinity Health and an occupational therapist. Her research interests include how participation in physical activity, leisure and meaningful activities can influence mental health. She is also interested in promoting recovery, quality of life, and health for individuals with mental illness. She co-developed the collaborative resource for health care providers and individuals with depression, the ‘Exercise and Depression Toolkit’, which has had international reach (www.exerciseanddepression.ca).
