As the Regional Practice Lead for Research and Knowledge Translation at Fraser Health, Dr. Rossiter collaborates with the long-term care sector to design, implement, and enhance quality improvement initiatives, research, and knowledge translation activities. Her work is pivotal in driving data-informed quality improvements and promoting the adoption of evidence-based best practices across the long-term care sector.
As a Clinical Exercise Physiologist and emerging researcher, Dr. Rossiter is deeply passionate about the concept of “movement as medicine”. She earned both her Master’s and PhD in Kinesiology from Western University, where she focused on developing theory-based interventions aimed at reducing sedentary behavior in high-risk populations.
