Jacquelyn Cragg

Dr. Jacquelyn Cragg completed MPH and PhD degrees in epidemiology and biostatistics at the UBC School of Population and Public Health followed by postdoctoral fellowships with the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and International Collaboration on Repair Discoveries (ICORD). She is now a data scientist and assistant professor in the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, and principal investigator at ICORD. She is a CIHR Tier 2 Canada Research Chair in Open Data Science.

As an emerging leader in the field of data science, drug safety, and neuro-epidemiology, Cragg’s research is improving our understanding of devastating neurological diseases. Her current research aims to identify causes, risk factors, and biomarkers of neurological disease progression, including Parkinson’s disease, ALS, multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injury, and stroke. She has formed promising research collaborations across the globe.
