Ingrid Handlovsky

Ingrid Handlovsky is an Assistant Professor in Nursing at UVic. Ingrid’s research is situated in exploring how our complex social environments (historical, political and cultural) inform health practices and experiences of equity-owed groups (specifically, 2S/LGBTQ+ people). Her research is informed by  social justice to draw attention to the conditions that create disadvantage, while highlighting and learning from tremendous demonstrated capacities.
