Ashok Narasimhan

The goal of my work is to identify understand the molecular mechanisms associated with cachexia with an eventual goal of developing therapies to improve the quality of life of patients with cancer. My short term goal is to identify miRNAs that are dysregulated in cachexia and the long term goal is to develop RNA therapeutics for cancer cachexia.
