Dr. Amy Glenwright completed her PhD at Newcastle University (UK) in 2017, studying nutrient transport complexes from the outer membrane of ‘good’ human gut bacteria. Dr. Glenwright is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow in Dr. Natalie Strynadka’s lab at the University of British Columbia. Her research is focused on understanding the recycling of bacterial cell wall components as a novel strategy to combat antibiotic resistance.
