Phase 2 of RAPP is moving forward. As mentioned in the last update, the working groups for the privacy, operational approvals and contracts and agreements workstreams are being reinstated to ensure the project deliverables remain collaborative and informed by the health authority experts in these administrative spaces. The updates for the working groups include:

-The Contracts & Agreements working group was reinstated in July 2025. The group will be meeting again this month to carry on streamlining discussions.

-The Privacy working group is currently being scheduled to start back up this month with a goal of bringing the disparate privacy review processes in individual health authorities close together in terms of review and processes.

– The Research Health Authority leads as well as Operational Approvals SMEs met in August to discuss the possibility of a provincial platform for operational approvals pathways and will be meeting again in September to advance this important work.
