Call for interest: Develop a training module on building meaningful research relationships with Indigenous communities in BC

The BC SUPPORT Unit invites two graduate students to develop a BC-based training module, about building meaningful research relationships with Indigenous communities.

Successful applicants will review existing materials — initially developed in Saskatchewan — and ensure that they are relevant, accurate, up-to-date, and culturally appropriate and meaningful for a BC context.

Researchers need support on ways to build meaningful and culturally safe relationships with Indigenous communities, led by Indigenous guidance. That’s why the BC SUPPORT Unit is issuing this call for interest to develop a training module in BC.

Successful applicants will be expected to begin on May 15, 2025, and submit a final draft by September 1, 2025. Preference will be given to those who identify as Indigenous graduate students.
